How do I reduce volumne of typing and notifications?

Since moving to iPhone 13 Mini, and IOS16, the volume of both the typing and notifications and shot up.

it's sort of adjusts but can be very loud.

the ringer volume has not changed, but I thought you could adjust the volume of those separately.

One for the ringer, and one for notifications (pings for messages etc).

You can adjust the ringer volume in Settings but there isn’t a way to adjust the ringer and notifications separately.

Thanks. No idea why it seems so much louder then.

I suppose they shouldn't be separate. Just feels very loud for a few of the notifications.
