iPhone Notifications volume low

I have a iPhone 13 pro max , the ringer volume is perfect , but notifications are far too low. I have the side volume buttons turned off , I also have the slider button all the way along to the right , but still very low . I know this has been asked a few times , but has anyone actually got this problem rectified , thanks

Hey there Malaga2b,

It sounds like you have the Ringtone and Alert Volume all the way up. If the ringer volume sounds good but it’s too low for the notification alerts, try changing the sound used for the alert. This could have an impact on the issue. You can do this in Settings > Sounds & Haptics and select the different sound at the bottom there. You can find more here:

Adjust the volume on iPhone

Also, it may help to isolate this issue. Does this happen when using headphones or a Bluetooth speaker connected to your iPhone? Test with both. If it doesn’t continue there, remove any case from your iPhone and check the speaker opening to see if it’s blocked or dirty. If it is, clean the speaker with a small, dry, clean, and soft-bristled brush.

This could help as well.

Take care.
