Magic Mouse not working after water damage

I got a new I Mac last Christmas. Today did a stupid and got coffee on my mouse. Got it to turn back on but it will not open anything. Or close files. Is this fixable?

Magic Mouse losing some sensitivity in pointer motion and scrolling I've had my iMac with a Magic Mouse for under a year and the mouse has been working fine, but all of a sudden it's acting a bit erratic. When I first move it, there's often a very brief delay and only then does the pointer move. And sometimes when I scroll it's not very responsive--I can move my finger a lot but it only scrolls a little. I recently cleaned the top of it with a lens-cleaning fluid so I don't think there's a problem of grime so I'm not sure what's going on. Thanks.

Macbook Pro with Studio Display - Mouse not working when lid is closed I have been using same setup for some time, with Macbook Pro M1 and Apple Studio Display. But as of about 10 days ago, when I close the lid, the mouse and other peripherals stop working (keyboard and trackpad). Works with lid slightly open and also after a reboot. Only changes made recently were updates to Sonoma....now running 14.2.1

Magic Mouse touch scroll not working right out of the box i don’t understand. I’ve had the Mac mini for years and never had a problem. Got the new Magic Mouse because of the USB-C and the touch features do not work. Connected to my old mouse and no problem. Reconnected the new mouse and no touch features. Not to mention I returned a brand new one already because I thought it was defective

You may want to wrap it in a warm towel to help dry it out and give it a couple of days. If it still doesn’t work then, in the immortal words of Star Trek’s Dr. Leonard (Bones) McCoy, “It’s dead, Jim."
