Export Photos memory failed
Get message "Export Failed" when trying to Export Memory Video. Also says "There was a problem trying to export this memory." Have even made memory smaller thinking size was the problem.

I found the error. One image was corrupted in some way. How did I find the one image? I created a dozen Memories using smaller sets of images to see which one had the export error. Then I eliminated several at a time, reintroducing some because Memory doesn't do anything with fewer than 5 images. It took quite a long time.
An error message like this would have been helpful: Export failed due to an error encountered on IMG-9380. With such an error message I could have fixed it in a minute instead of an hour.

I have a 2022 MB Air with 250GB free, or 25%. All is on the internal SSD. MacOS 12.6. I'm getting the same error message. Hard to believe a two minute memory uses up the available space. "There was a problem...." is so generic that it's hard to diagnose. I long for the old times of 6 digit error codes (which shows my age):)

How much free space do you have on your boot drive?

That might be part of the problem. It's generally recommended to try to maintain a minimum of 20% free space on the boot drive. I keep about 80-100 GB free to facilitate optimal system and application performance. Can you move any files to the EHD to free up additional space on the boot drive?
You may want to check the items in the memory, if they are still compatible with your current system version, particularly any videos.
And you may not be able to export a video, if the background music has digital rights assigned, for example a song from Apple Music.
Update: the image that caused the Memories movie export to fail was not corrupted in the classic sense. I was able to export the image to a file folder, Share to email and to iMessage, all were able to view the image. The problem showed up only within Photos app. When I tried to Edit, I got the error message "Cannot Start Editing. Photos cannot load adjustments for this image".
I was able to recover the image by exporting the unmodified original to my desktop, then dragging the image back into Photos. Memories video export then worked with the newly re-imported image.

What year and model is your Mac?
What system are you running?
Where is your library located? If on an external drive how is the drive formatted?
How many photos in the memory video?
