charging problem after update

Hi sir.my iPhone when plugged in power shows the sign of charging but it doesn’t actually charge.it happens after the last update ios16. For charging I have to turn off my iPhone and then plug it in. By the way my iPhone model is 12.could you propose a solution?

Looks like this is a software issue and it has nothing to do with the hardware (phone as well as charger or cables)

i am facing this same issue after upgrading my iPhone 13 pro to ios 16. I have to restart my phone before plugging it in every time.

never happened before on ios 15.* versions.
