No sound from midi keyboard

I'm using a casiotone st 200 keyboard with GarageBand

Never had any trouble using it until lately

Now when I create a new project and select Midi

It recognizes the midi but there's no response in GarageBand

It says 1 midi is detected

Am I not doing something I should be

Please help

Garageband MIDI not working at all I have a very specific problem that's been making using GarageBand impossible lately. I have a Yamaha DGX-660 electric keyboard plugged into my Mac through a USB type B cable, and up until about a week ago I was able to record MIDI just fine. Now, whenever I press a key on my Yamaha a note is recorded AND whenever I release a key a note is recorded. Then after a bit, no sound is recorded but GarageBand still shows what chord I'm playing (in the information box with the tempo). GarageBand is telling me 2 MIDI inputs are connected when there should only be one, but Audio MIDI setup says that my keyboard is the only MIDI source detected. I've tried changing all cables to between my keyboard and computer, rebooting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling GarageBand, quitting all other apps with any sort of MIDI, and nothing has worked so far. Any help is appreciated!

Midi Drums Cut Out in GarageBand (Not Working) I have been using my Carlsbro electric drums through Garaband and it has always worked. Now it is only playing the sound for about 15 seconds before cutting out. If I press the play button, the sound works again for about another 15 seconds. The notes are triggering as shown by the indicator and I have tried the same cable on my MIDI keyboard and that works fine, with no dropping of sound. Does anyone know why this might be? For reference, this is what a recording of the mid looks like before dropping out (if at all helpful)

Nasty MIDI Problem with Logic Pro X I have a Macbook Pro 2021 with MacOS Monetrey 12.6.3 and problem with Midi within Logic Pro X. This is the problem: My Midi Controller Keyboard Behringer UMX490 doesn't work anymore (connected with USB C). Midi Datas coming into Logic. You can see it in the transport bar where also the Tempo etc. is shown. Addional i have an Prophet 6 conected via USB C and a soundcard by RME Fireface UC But the signal is not reaching the instrument in the single Tracks. If i load an Vst it works for the moment but if i change the track and coming back there's no sound and no signal This happen only in one project (Song A). In another Project (Song B) everything is fine I checked all the settings and the seem simular. The controll keyboard is recognized All channels are open to receive midi Data Are there setting just for one Project/Song that i can reset? Could it be that there is just a bug in one project? Could it be that not the all informations are loaded? I I really don't know where the problem might be. I'm an experienced User and simply cant find the problem I would be super glad if someone has an idea....

FIgured it out again!

Restarted Garage Band and now my keyboard is working again.

Simple solution!
