Midi Drums Cut Out in GarageBand (Not Working)

I have been using my Carlsbro electric drums through Garaband and it has always worked. Now it is only playing the sound for about 15 seconds before cutting out. If I press the play button, the sound works again for about another 15 seconds. The notes are triggering as shown by the indicator and I have tried the same cable on my MIDI keyboard and that works fine, with no dropping of sound.

Does anyone know why this might be?
