Can't verify family sharing payment method - Xr, ios 16

Hey, I recently tried to purchase something in an app, for $1.39 cad, all went well until it said I had to verify my payment method, so I got the code, put it in, pressed verify, nothing happens whatsoever. I'm a part of a family, and its not my personal card. Might be worth noting that my phone is running ios 16, and it doesnt work on either of my xr's. Anything is appreciated.
