my screen is black but not cracked

i dropped my phone and it did not shatter - it went black and i've tried powering off but nothing happens - idk what to do - it's an 8 plus

Perhaps some other internal component might have suffered during the fall, but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.

I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
