Trying to retrieve unbacked up data from iPhone that has been reset

My 11 pro max hit the floor and the screen got broken with "iPhone Unavailable" being displayed. I thought the issue would be resolved after I got a new screen but the same message was displayed. The person fixing my phone said that the only way I could deal with the problem was to reset the phone. After I did this, the screen did return to normal but all the information that was stored on the phone went missing. I had used more than the free 5GB space that Apple offers and had not backed up the rest of the data. Is it possible to retrieve that data that had not been backed up?
