Airpod pro’s case not responding when not in charge

Hi,

It sounds like you may have an issue with the charging case.

To confirm this, complete the following:

• Your paired iPhone is updated to the latest iOS.
• Your AirPods firmware version is updated to the latest.
• You have a working, and reliable, wired charger for the charging case.

1. When you are charging, make sure you are using your working and reliable wired charger vs a wireless charger.
2. Plug into the charger, and leave it there, make sure the AirPods are in the case, and then open the lid and hold it near your iPhone. You should see the battery life for both the left and right AirPods, as well as the charging case. Confirm the battery percentage for the case, and then leave it on the charger for thirty minutes.
3. After thirty minutes, while still on the charger, open the lid to your charging case again and confirm the battery percentage for the case; if it has increased, decreased, or made no change.

If you have confirmed that the case is not charging appropriately by this point, contact Apple Support.
