MBP M1 crashes when Thunderbolt cable removed
I use a Kensington SD5300T TB3 dock with my MBP in clamshell mode.
Typical operation is fine; problems happen when I disconnect the TB cable. Laptop screen goes black, nothing can recover from the failure other than holding down the power key for 10 seconds to force the power off. This happens whether the cable is removed while in or out of clamshell mode.
That's my biggest grievance, but I'm also frustrated that I cannot restart or shutdown the MBP while attached to the dock, or when MBP freezes when disconnecting devices from the dock.
I am using the TB cable included with the dock, OS and dock software are both current. Not sure if the culprit is the dock itself or the dock software.
Etrecheck file attached, but also including a snippet from one of the IPS files after crash. For some reason I really get a kick out of the parameter "isCorpse"
