Emoji can't be inserted on a MacBook Air M2 - OS Monterey
Hello,
This is very strange since I can display the emoji screen but they can't be inserted within my writings (mail, word, note, ...).
I am working on a brand new MacBook Air M2 with the latest version OS Monterey 12.5.1
I have erased and reinstalled entirely OS Monterey but it didn't fix the issue.
What is going on?
I am able to display the emoji window by clicking on the keyboard short cut, but when I chose one emoji and click on it, the window disappears and the emoji is NOT inserted on the screen.
What works?
I just made it work by clicking on the top right icon on the emoji window to bring up the "Character viewer" instead (see print screen).
I can now double click on an emoji and insert it in my text.
By switching back from the characters viewer to the emoji window it now work as well.
But if I close the window and bring the emoji screen up again, I can't insert anymore any emoji.🧐🤔
It makes the process a little more long and painful especially when you're using a lot of emoji on a daily basis...
Any idea how to fix this?
