automatically copy new messages to local folder

I have an IMAP mail connection in Apple mail and would like to copy any new message automatically a local Mac mail folder. I checked the rules and do not see anything that can perform such task. Anyone knows how to achieve this?

I when I move them into the folder in the ON MY Mac section, all the messages show my name as the sender on the list. When I click on each message, they open with the correct information and the correct sender. I can search for a message and it shows up in the search results but the search result shows my name as the sender. I have to click on each result to see who the original sender was. I am not forwarding these messages, I am either copying or moving them. I just want to have a offline archive of my selected messages. Has anyone found a simple way to achieve this? I think what I described above is a bug in Mail at least in Monterey.

How to Download All Gmail Messages to Apple Mail? I have recently reinstalled Monterey on a clean install. I use Mac Mail on the iMac. I am using IMAP. I have a ton of messages in the Inbox on Gmail when I look at my Gmail account. Some are read and some unread. But when I look on Mac Mail there are only a few. I have selected synchronize. How do I force Mac Mail to download all of the messages in Gmail on the IMAP server, even if those had previously been downloaded?

Mac Mail copying instead of moving Mac Mail seems to be copying messages instead of moving messages when I drag them into folders. How do I fix this?
