Group messages

I have deleted troops from my iPhone, all iMessage groups that are named. if I go to text the already existing group I add the people that are in said group, but it send in a different message thread.

Other than 1. Having the group text to get the group again onto my phone

or 2. Texting the group to myself from my Mac or watch that was not deleted.

Any suggestions?
