Purchased content has disappeared from my TV library A number of movies and TV shows that I purchased through the TV app have now disappeared. I can find some of them in my purchase history but there’s no provision there for re-downloading. If I search for a specific TV show in the TV app (searching all content, not just my library), I get “not found” for some of these or “no longer available” for others. I vaguely understand the horse-trading that goes on as Apple negotiates deals with content providers, but these are purchased. They shouldn’t get stripped from my library, and if they do I should be able to re-download them. If Apple’s solution is “well, you shoulda saved all your content in a local repository”, that would seem to run counter to the whole “Apple is safe; keep your content in our cloud.”

Apple TV Purchased Library empty Over the years I have purchased a large number of movies and TV shows from the iTunes store. Recently my Library stopped updating with my new purchases. I have signed in and out repeatedly. Now my library on both my Apple TV device and laptop is empty. I can still access purchased movies and shows though the Watch Now tab. But I have to search for everything individually. Why are all my purchases no longer showing up in my library?

since ive updated my apple tv i have lost half my purchased movies. it isnt showing up in the app. i had 74 movies now it is only showing 20 When I used the movie app before they merged to Apple TV it would show all my shows and films I had purchased. now I am missing more then half of my library.

If your account is still for the same country as where you made the original purchase, then you iTunes Store video purchases should be listed in the Library of the Apple TV app, when signed in with the Apple ID account that has these purchases. Please contact the Apple Support staff to investigate.

Do mention your model device with the Apple TV app, in case that is related to the issue.
