disk utility has Erase grayed out. 2015 MacBook Pro Monterey

Trying to wipe my trade in - Following instructions for intel based Mac. Disk Utilities will not allow me to erase "Macintosh HD"

Please advise

Needs info on erasing disk on Mac Monterey 12.6.8 on my Mac mini. Instructions I found here ask me to hold down command and R during startup. I get normal startup and disk utility does not give me the option to erase my disk. Want to set up late 2014 max mini for resale. Running Mac Monterey 12.6.8. instrucuons from this site tell me to sign out if I could, done. Also sign out of ITunes and IMessage. then shut down Mac. Start up while holding down command and r key. It starts up normally and disk utility does not allow the erase function. suggestions????

I can't erase my Mac I want to erase my mac on Disk Utilities but when I click on "erase" nothing happens. Please advice...
