Thank you Idris, do you know why we can't delete prior purchase information ?
I'm really only concerned about the "Free" apps - lingering around, "Paid for ones" are generally carefully chosen, and researched before purchasing, and are intentional - so, yes, keeping them around is important.
Imagine before being married, you downloaded a dating application... then years later your Partner is looking through your apps and notices that you had installed "Tinder" or something on your account... that would lead to an... interesting discussion, and potential suspicions. The only way around this, would be create a new account every so often, but then how would you transfer "Paid for" application purchases from one account to another ?
That of course, is an extreme example, but there's other situations in which amassing a history of everything that you've ever downloaded is troubling - it's akin to the Orwellian view of "Big Brother is watching you", extreme profiling of you as an individual, surely someone must have flagged this before ? If so, do you know what the response was ?
Apps that have been "Hidden" can be "un-Hidden" afterwards too...
