I find that the TV app fails to keep pace with episodes I have watched or even the progress within a particular episode. Becoming very annoying and I have to manually mark things. Any views on what is wrong?

Watch progress is to be stored online as an account property. Please contact the Apple Support staff about why it isn’t working for you (your account), and what they or you can do about it. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).
