Syncing iMessage on iPhone and MacBook.

I am attempting to sync my iMessage messages from my iPhone (Which uses my phone number) to my Macbook. When going into iMessage preferences on my MacBook, there is no phone number option, only my Apple ID email. Does anyone know a fix? Both devices are fully updated.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.3
