auto reply message uses wrong country code

Just came back from France. I had a local SIM in my phone. Now I'm home and when I get a call and try to send the "quick reply" texts and rejecting the call, it replies with my local number and +33 in front ahead of it even though I can send a text normally, correctly. How do I stop it trying to send my quick replies with a country code of +33 (France)

I also have a physical sim card from Orange Spain (+34) that I don't use at the moment and it is set to "off". When someone calls from a local number and I choose "respond with text" to decline the call, my iPhone adds +33 (France) prefix, instead of +48. I tried enabling and disabling "dial assist" multitude of times. I changed regions several times. I changed the iMessage region several times. No matter what I do, it adds +33 country code. Should I just live with it? It seems that many people had a problem like mine and no one really found a solution.

Text responses go to wrong country code Recently I went to Portugal and when I was there I bought a sim card and put it in my iPhone 11 Pro, with my primary e-sim still in it. When I got home to Australia, I deactivated the Portugal sim-card, deleted it and took the sim card out. Now when someone call me I respond with text, my iPhone changes the calling numbers country code to +31. Anybody know how to solve this? I have tried reset network and I have also tried to delete me e-sim and activate a new e-sim. Help! Thanks!

Automatic sms reply sending out to different country call number Hello, I recently returned from Italy and now everytime I use automatic reply, iphone changes the call number from +386 (Slovenia) to +39 (Italy). I checked the region settings and tried rebooting the phone. Nothing works... Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply. I tried that and it didn't work. It sparked another idea, though. I put the sim card back in and turned the phone back on. It registered as operational in Australia after which I took the sim out and put my Australian sim in and it fixed the problem. Thanks

Please remove the SIM that you used in France and Restart the device.
