How can others open pages or numbers?
I just converted from an old MS Office to pages and numbers. No one can read the docs that are now in Pages and Numbers. Help?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.4

Hi picas,
"The same goes for…"
Well, almost the same.
Numbers documents would have to be exported to MS Excel format, and Keynote documents would have to be exported to MS Power Point file format.

If you are exchanging documents with those that are using Microsoft 365 or Office 2019/2021 on Mac or Windows, then you cannot count on Pages, Numbers, or Keynote (which are not Microsoft clones) to export Microsoft document formats that appear exactly as they do in Apple's applications.
Many applications can open Microsoft documents, and only one application can open Apple documents.
Pages documents can only be opened with Pages. You would have to export the file to Word. The same goes for Numbers.
