Why have my albums disappeared from Photos?

This happened to me recently, and I thought I'd share a fix. The other day, I added something to do with the iCloud to my phone, and when I opened Photos on my laptop, two years of albums were gone. BUT…the pictures are not gone. So I had to make new albums, title them, then search them by date. I hit select all, then dragged them into the new folder. I sort my photos by month, so this wasn't hard.
