Spam risk auto block feature

Out of the blue, my iPhone started to recognize my brothers incoming calls as spam risk and autoblocked his number. We had been speaking for years using the same numbers.

I have unblocked him now but how can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Your iPhone by itself cannot automatically block spam calls without a 3rd party app installed, so check for any such apps, including any from your cellular network provider.. Also make sure you didn’t accidentally add his number to the blocked list: Settings/Phone/Blocked Contacts, and while there check SMS/Call Reporting. Note that your carrier can also block spam calls, so check with them.
