Late 2015 iMac has two Thunderbolt/USB4 with strange-looking ports. How can I use them?

How can I use the Thunderbolt/USB4 ports on my late 2015 iMac, OS Monterey? The ports look strange, like the letter "D". I would like to plug in a WD Passport (Time Machine).

Those Thunderbolt 2/Mini DisplayPorts does not support or convert to USB, so you will need to plug the WD Passport into one the iMac's USB ports.

If you are currently using all of the iMac's USB ports and need more, then you will need to get and use a USB hub.

The following is an example of the one that I have. > https://sabrent.com/products/hb-ump3

For other good examples of 4 port self-powered hubs go to > 4 port self powered hub
