How do I get Classic Mail layout in Monterey. I made the mistake of upgrading and really dislike this new mail.... Very frustrating

Not much to go on here— Mail is the same app.(?)

Maybe a screen shot or something to explain what it is you have or don't have...?

Thanks so much for your reply. I appreciate your help. I did reboot several times, shut down several times too. I decided to go back to my older version and got my mail back, I know it's not the latest IOS , however, I have a Desktop too and the apps that require a newer version work just fine on that. Mail, Finder and all the other ones that changed in Monterey are now working again like I had them set up and am happy with.

This all started because I wanted to use Pages and it would not open for me because I was just a few versions behind.

Ridiculous - this Mac is only 3.5 years old... should not have trouble running anything....

Always good to keep your software up to date.

The current stable release of Monterey including bug fixes, is macOS 12.4

Thank you for you reply. No, that is not it... I would like the same mail program offered in Catalina. This Monterey version of everything in mail is terrible, does not search properly, letters greyed out, titles bold...and I could go on and on. I do not even like the look of it. Even Finder is not easy to work with.. the only thing so far that does not seem too different is Safari

I am so disappointed and I resisted for a long time , eventually some of the apps stopped working or would not load because of the IOS version so I was forced to upgrade to Monterey.. BIG MISTAKE
