Why doesn’t Apple TV+ have a resume?
Trying to watch a series is impossible on Apple TV+ ! Every time I go back to watch I have to go from the start of the episode.

Watch progress is to be stored online as an account property. Please contact the Apple Support staff about why it isn’t working for you, and what they or you can do about it. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).
After more testing I’ve discovered Apple simply doesn’t test their software, as an Apple user for over 20 years there is no surprise there!!
Resume an episode
It’s simply poorly designed and seems to show a lack of beta testing or feedback to the developers, or as I suspect Apple have ignored this as it’s not top of their priorities as designated by the Apple Marketing team:(
Neither helps , play history is switched on! Bothe the app on my TV & my iPhone. I’ve tried all kinds to fix this, I mean how can you get this so wrong all I see is lots of people complaining & have fortunately made it work but no clear reason how or why we need to do this to get a basic streaming service working!
