Why does apple music lossless streaming skip?
Why does apple music lossless streaming skip a chunk of audio samples/a few milliseconds within the first 30 seconds of playback?

Are you experiencing the same issue if the song is downloaded to the device? Trying this step out can help to rule out the internet connection as being part of the cause.
Add and download music on Mac - Apple Support
If it only happens while streaming, try connecting the Mac to a different, strong Wi-Fi network, if possible.
If there are any VPNs or other networking/security apps installed, try temporarily uninstalling them, just to help rule these out as well.
