Tracks sometimes don’t play lossless

Streaming Apple Music on iOS with Lossless turned on. Every other track does not show the Lossless indicator even though it’s on a lossless album. If I fast forward to the next track and then back to the original track, it then plays the lossless version. ??

Apple Music Hi-Resolution Lossless Tracks Downgraded to Lossless on iPhone A number of Hi-Resolution Lossless songs on Apple Music are no longer displaying as Hi-Resolution Lossless. In Settings, I have Hi-Resolution Lossless turned on and Dolby Atmos turned off. Take The Beatles Abbey Road 2019 mix. Does Apple Music always show the lossless icon? It seems that the lossless icon does not show up most of the time during playback in Apple Music even though the albums are supposed to in high-res lossless. But I manage to see the icon occasionally to confirm that I am getting lossless. Here are some screen shots to show the problem. You can see that the Dirt Femme album is supposed to be lossless. There is no lossless icon in the song playback. But I see the lossless icon when playing songs from a different album. Why is there discrepancy between the two?

Music is listed as Hi-Res Lossless but is only playing in Lossless. This is only impacting some songs/albums while others are playing in Hi-Res totally fine. Please help! Trying to listen to Bjork’s new track or Dolly Parton’s new album and they’re listed as Hi-Res Lossless but only playing back in Lossless. Other tracks/albums though are listed as such and playing totally fine. I’m on iPhone 13 Pro Max iOS 17.1.1
