Is the Apple USB Superdrive FULLY comptible with macOS Monterey, without installing VLC media player??

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

Yes. SuperDrives need to be plugged directly into a USB port, no hubs.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I have seen reviews that suggested the Superdrive was not compatible with macOS Monterey.
