$150 were deducted from my account

Hello,

I just purchased a macbook under the back to school event 2022. I was supposed to get a $150 giftcard to my email, but instead they were deducted from my account(the transaction status is pending but they were deducted). I haven't made this purchase($150) through my apple id which my card was linked to but I can see the purchase being done through my bank account. I didn't get an email regarding this as well. I just wanted to know is this related to my mac purchase or was done for something else.
