Strange transactions when buying Macbook on student discount

So I bought the Macbook Air M2 which came to a total of 1600.18$.

I chose to pay in full.

Initially, as soon as I entered my card info, there was a charge of 150$ on my card.

A week or so later, my card was charged for 1450.18$. I assumed this was the remainder of the payment for the Macbook.

But then, Apple charged another 150$ to my card?! Can anyone help me with what this charge is supposed to be for. And how do I get this charge reversed.

My experience with this sort of thing is it will eventually work itself out when the transaction is fully concluded.

Banking institutions make all sorts of manipulations like this, and others, but if something is amiss, you'll need to wait until the whole operation closes.

If there is a problem, you'll need to talk to Apple's financial guys, your credit card people or maybe even both.
