I don’t want my Apple ID to be able to send and receive iMessages but I want to be able to use Apple Cash in iMessage. Is there a way around this??

It’s not letting me send money through Apple pay to people on iMessage. Every time I try to send money thru Apple pay on iMessage, it keep say, “Apple cash requires the same Apple ID for iMessage and iCloud. To send and receive money on this device, sign in to iMessage with my icloud email” but i’m already signed in with my icloud email so what does that mean?
