Can I delete the "Install MacOS Monterey" file after I have installed Monterey?

I am trying to free up some space, and after a successful install of Monterey I have a 12.15GB install file in my Apps folder - can I delete this without causing major issues?

can i delete "Install macOS Monterey" application? I have a macbook air which is using macOS Catalina at the moment. I don't have the required disk space to install monterey and need to download something else now. Can I delete the "install macOS Monterey" application and update to Monterey later on, or should i keep the installer until i have updated my laptop?

Yes. Normally, it should self delete when it completes, but sometimes that doesn't happen.
