I am on FaceTime and when I attempt to use SharePlay for Spotify the volume is far too loud and I can no longer hear the person I am on FaceTime with. However when I turn down the Spotify volume the FaceTime volume is also reduced. Is it possible to have separate volume controls for both Spotify and FaceTime (preferably via SharePlay)

There aren't separate controls for those apps when being used together. Spotify does have some settings that may help to change the audio levels a bit, but not separate controls: App Settings - Spotify
