Can't reply with Hide my Email address

There's probably a bug with the Mail app on Mac and iPhone.

I received an important message from a company. I had to reply but I got an error saying the email address is deactivated or deleted. For the test purposes I created another Hide My Email address, send a message from a different email. Also, checked on a different iPhone, Mac. Same story. I use Mail app, everything is updated to the latest versions.

However, when I used web version (signed in on iCloud.com) I was able to reply without any issues with the Hide My Email address.

I reached out tech support, spoke with the specialists. First they say they can't figure out the problem, finally they said the engineering team is working on this issue.
