ipod classic has no update available is there a fix?
The classic was withdrawn from sale seven and a half years ago. Apple aren't writing new firmware updates for it. What is the issue with your classic?

I really liked the idea of an iPod exclusively for music - when I listen to music I don’t want exposure to anything else like an E-mail or a message or a news flash or a camera opportunity. That’s classic iPod right ? I just wanted to enjoy the whole Apple iTunes music thing from California but it seems that’s not even classic anymore - it’s just plain out of date.
Anyway not to worry - I’ll figure out some kind of work around third party nonsense. Thanks
