Exercise minutes

My Apple Watch has recently stopped recording minutes correctly. When I turned on Workout and did 25 minutes, the green ring only shows 7 minutes. Any ideas??

Workout minutes apple watch Since december 12th the minutes on my workout ring have not been registering properly. While I usually would get 30 minutes on my way to and back from work I am now down to 4 minutes. Nothing has changed. Same pace, same distance, same watch same arm, same hole in the wristband. Workouts that I log actively are not affected. Is this a software problem or is my watch broken?
