Apple Watch is not recording all of my workout minutes

My watch is not counting all of my workout minutes to my exercise goal.

itll be off by 10mins at times

It might be because the heart rate or motion sensors did not detect activity levels that would count as that type of exercise.

There could then be many reasons why not. Maybe the watch was worn too loose, or if it was walking for instance, the walk was not brisk enough. This varies by workout type, see here for a summary of them:

It is also good idea to calibrate your watch, if you havent done that yet:
