Apple Watch

I found an Apple Watch at work, left it in the lost in found for about 2 months, I was allowed to take it home since no one claimed it. It has activation lock on, but I don’t know the owners Apple ID. Is the watch now unusable? Do I return it to apple?

To remove Activation Lock would require the Apple ID and password, or an original proof of purchase receipt. Without those, the watch will not be useable.

Apple does not take possession of lost property, you could try your local police station.
