Iphone 13 Pro Max - No incoming Caller ID (for any incoming call)

Regardless of caller, I have no incoming caller ID. The caller could be in my contacts, (i.e., my husband, my adult children, friends, etc.) and all audio calls show as "NO CALLER ID". FaceTime calls show with contact information.

I have reset network settings, cycled on/off, no cell provider updates pending, no IOS updates pending, checked Verizon settings, etc.

Calls in Recent Calls post as "NO CALLER ID" as well.

Driving me nuts, would appreciate help.

(this is not my needing to turn on/off my outgoing caller ID - just for kicks I tried that too, didn't help)

Let's start with some basics:

  1. From your post, we see you have iOS 15 installed, but the latest version is iOS 15.2.1. You mentioned being up to date, but to confirm, is iOS 15.2.1 the exact version number showing within Settings > General > About?
  2. Does this only occur with saved contacts, or does it also occur with contacts not saved?
  3. As Caller ID is a feature managed by your carrier, have you already contacted them about this? If yes, what did they have to say about it?

It seems some of the questions asked earlier went unanswered, but we'd like to ask about them again as they'll help to narrow down what's happening:

  1. As you mentioned contacting your carrier, what exactly did they have to say about what's happening, and did you try any troubleshooting steps with them? The more details you provide, the better equipped we'll be to assist.
  2. We understand that the issue isn't occurring with FaceTime, but is occurring with audio calls. Did you ask your carrier about the audio calls specifically?
  3. Does this only occur with saved contacts?
