Apple Watch touch screen not working

Hi

The touch screen on my Apple Watch has stopped working. It does work if I connect the Watch to charge but when I remove it from the charger it is unresponsive. It’s fully charged.

I have tried a hard restart. I also did a soft restart when I had it on the charger. Now improvement. I also unpaired and then paired it. Finally I erased all data and restored it. No difference.

Any suggestions? The last time I had a problem with it was during summer 2021 after a software upgrade.
