Delete Apple Music App

Hi, I have an iPhone 11 on iOS 15.1 and my Apple Music App has 1.48Gb in Documents & Storage, which is a lot. So I'm trying to clean this Document & Storage by deleting the app but it just doesn't work.

I go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Music > Delete App

The app disappear for the springboard but few seconds later, reappears in iPhone Storage: although the red Music icon disappeared, an icon with the design guidelines remains as the 1.48Gb as the option to delete the Music app.

I restarted the iPhone obviously, I also reset/wiped out completely my iPhone (for other reasons) but still here I am with the Apple Music Documents & Data 1.48Gb storage.

Oh and I check on my iPad —which is on the same Apple ID account—, and there, the Apple Music app ony uses 317Mb in Document & Storage.

Anyone could help me with this?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel.

Hi Yer_Man,

the first screenshot shows the 1.48 GB in Music App’s document & storage I’d like to get rid of.

The second one shows I don’t have any music downloaded on my iPhone.

So I don’t get where those 1.48 GB are coming from and how to get rid of it.

Any idea?

When I start the app, it just working fine.

I have some music added in my Library, some playlists but none of their content is downloaded. And as said before, on my iPad, I just have 317MB in Documents & Storage.
