Watch OS 8 Removed the Do Not Disturb During Workout Feature! WHY??

I noticed that with the replacement of Do Not Disturb with Focus, the simple and very "Applesque" feature of going into Do Not Disturb and throwing a simple switch to set the Do Not Disturb during a Workout is gone. Even the current Apple Workout Support Articles still show this feature https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204523 But now, you have to swipe up for the Control Center and turn on Do Not Disturb before the workout, and (if you remember) swipe back up and turn if off once the workout is done. Why!!?!?! Such an elegant feature that was automated has now been replaced with a human interaction. This is ridiculous and completely "Un-Apple!" Please bring this feature back!
