Preview needs to be fixed; it deletes annotations when the size of the pdf file is big. Any solution?

Hi,

This issue keeps happening to me.

Whenever I leave annotations on a big pdf file (e.g. 70 MB) on Preview, it deletes a lot of them although I saved the file.

I am reviewing the same long documents three times already because of this issue.

This needs to be fixed.

If this is a limit of the Preview app, can you recommend an alternative app?

And a warning to the customers not to use Preview for annotating on a big pdf file is necessary.

In addition to dialabrain's recommendation, I suggest you send feedback directly to the macOS product team, as they will not be reading nor responding to your "fix it" request in this public, user-supported, and Google archived community.
