Apple TV "Menu" button not functioning

The other two buttons work ok, but NOT the "Menu" button. Any ideas.

Cannot perform the unlink/link step as detailed in "if you Apple TV remote isn't working" as suggested because the "Menu" button does not work. My remote is the aluminum remote. Seems to be a hardware button problem with "Menu" button. Looking for ideas on how to disassemble clean the button.
