Do you have any other Apple device that you can test this with? If so, try to sync this music to that device.

Make sure you're using a current and updated version of iTunes. Here's how to Update to the latest version of iTunes.

Do these songs show up in your music library and play as expected on your computer?

If you can, it may help to try to remove the music file and then add it back. Then, test and try to sync that song with your iPhone.

Are you subscribed to Apple Music? If so, you can Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music to sync music to your iPhone.

If not, we would suggest contacting the third-party service you're using to download these files as a next step to ensure the issue is not related to that.
