I have 50 GB of iCloud storage that I pay for monthly. I assumed that meant I got 50 GB per month. Is this incorrect that the monthly charge does not give you 50GB of storage each month?

They give you a month's access to the same 50GB. iCloud storage upgrades are rentals, not purchases.
