Apple Watch won’t wake on wrist movements

My Apple Watch series one stopped waking on wrist movement. I have to touch the button to wake it. Why did this happen and how do I fix it?

Apple Watch does not wake My watch does not wake when I lift my wrist. I have gone to *setting, *general, *wake screen I have toggled on and off and on again. Those things have not worked. A week ago my watch was waking upon lifting my wrist. Now I have to touch the screen to get it to wake.

Apple Watch not waking up with movement I have checked that wake settings are correct but the watch has stopped waking up on worst movement. It does wake on tap or crown push. Any suggestions to fix would be appreciated.

See if you have theatre mode turned on and turn it off;
