Apple Watch solo braided loop band

Purchased my Apple Watch with the solo braided loop band. After about 3 months of use the band had stretched to the point where it no longer would fit snugly, thus rendering it unwearable. Very disappointing given the cost of the band. Have others experienced this problem?

Totally agree. Ended up buying a similarly looking, but adjustable band off Amazon for a fraction of the price of the Apple product. It works the Solo Braided Loop doesn’t. Apple customers deserve better than this overpriced piece of rubbish.

Apparently Apple won't cover this problem even if you have AppleCare+ on the Watch. They stick with the 14-day rule no matter what. This is just crazy because AppleCare will only cover part of the watch....it's not a watch without a band right? I really can't believe that Apple would just leave their customers hanging for a problem that they knew about yet failed to tell anyone....until months later when they added a disclaimer that the band may stretch out. This is what happens when they give in to the revenue at any cost (e.g. customer retention) model. Outsource everything to China, cut the quality of the materials down to maximize profit.
